Know Jayson Tatum
Born on March 3, 1998, Jayson Christopher Tatum is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played basketball for the Duke Blue Devils in college and was a McDonald’s All-American during high school in Missouri.
In the 2017 NBA Draft, Tatum was chosen by the Boston Celtics as the third overall pick. In 2018, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He was selected as the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player in 2022 and helped the Celtics advance to the NBA Finals.
He is a five-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA pick. Tatum was a member of the U.S. Olympic squad in Tokyo in 2020 and earned a gold medal. With 51 points in a Game 7 of any NBA playoff series, he also owns the record for most points scored in an NBA All-Star game at 55.
Tatum also founded the Jayson Tatum Foundation, which annually funds 100 boys and girls’ attendance at a one-day, fully-funded summer basketball camp and leadership program.

Jayson is very selective in what he shares with his fans about his personal life, especially romantic ones. It is rumored that he has been dating the British R&B singer, Ella Mai for many years.
